Quelle est la plus-value d'un guide de moyenne montagne p/r à qqn qui connaît très bien une région svp ? Bonsoir,
Quel est l'intérêt de payer un guide accompagnant en moyenne montagne lorsque, par ailleurs, dans le groupe de marcheurs, se trouve une montagnarde aguerrie connaissant très bien la région en question ?
Je sais que c'est un métier m n'étant pas montagnarde, j'ai de la peine à imaginer concrètement.

Bien connaître une région, c'est-à-dire ? C'est grand une région !! Géographiquement et généralement on connait bien un coin où l'on va régulièrement ; on est loin de connaître tous les tracés ! C'est sortir des sentiers battus aussi. Et surtout il y a la connaissance globale de la région : son histoire géologique, humaine, sociale, touristique ... l'Accompagnateur en Moyenne Montagne saura expliquer pourquoi à cet endroit on trouve plutôt cette espace végétale qu'une autre, expliquera la raison d'une ruine ici, trace d'un passé méconnu ... Il peut aussi faire découvrir les joies d'une nuit en igloo, d'un repas "trappeur", écouter le brame du cerf à l'automne ...
Sinon pour te convaincre essaies et tu verras la différence ! C'est un plus à la rando.
PS ; oui, l'AMM (comme on dit) connait les premiers gestes en cas d'insolation, de malaise, de morsure de vipère ...
